Local Country Artist Gets Attention From Clear Channel Radio
Local Singer/Songwriter/Musician, Robert Beall has broken into the arena of Country Music. His traditonal sound has been received with open arms and ears in Europe and now in his home state. This Morganton North Carolina songwriter can now be heard on Clear Channel Radio Stations across the country.

His traditional sound is being heard around the world and is finally getting notice here in the Carolina's. This country boy from the foothills of Burke County is keeping it traditional.

Robert grew up rather poor in Southern Maryland and this upbringing is what he contributes his country roots to. "I worked the family farm from the time I could walk, and those horses, and the barn radio were my video games, and t.v. back then", Beall said in a recent interview.

His story growing up is full of tragedy and triumph, and these real life stories are translated best in his recognized single, "Whiskey In My Veins", which is the very first single to get national recognition. "The song is about a real life conversation my mother had with my step-dad when I was just a little boy." "She loved him so much but could not live with his abuse of alcohol anymore." "I wrote the song using my step-dads perspective in mind." "I wrote the song because I knew my mother loved him so much but could not live that way anymore." "I know alcoholism affects millions of families and I just wanted to harness the hurt drinking causes." Beall said.

Robert's step-dad attempted suicide that year and the song really captures two emotions between two people that really loved each other, but were separated by a common problem.

Robert Beall's song, "Whiskey in My Veins" can be found on 96.9 WKKT FM's Kat Country's website under the heading Most Played Unsigned Artist. His single is quickly rising to the top and if this single is any indication of what is come from this artist, then he may not be unsigned for long.
