/Country Music News Articles/ - February 27, 2006 - The series has five completed titles and two more are planned for 2006. Seven additional titles are planned for 2007. Each CD is comprised of multi-layered, extremely soothing, angelically channeled music. The music is composed not only for the purpose of relaxation, but to prepare or "vibrationally attune," the listener for (1) the guided fantasy/meditation found on the last track of each cd and (2) coping with the stresses of daily life and (3) spiritual communion and healing.

"We need to shift our vibrations on an individual level, as well as on a planetary level, if we are to survive as a species. When the vibrations begin to shift on individual levels, they will impact all of us at a cellular level and on a larger scale, then too. In this way, we can slowly reconnect with each other on a spiritual level and begin to weave the fabric of our planet back together," said Garris.

"God did not just drop us off here on Earth and expect us to be adrift without communication," she continues. "Everyone has this ability to connect to higher source. It is through quieting the chatter of the conscious mind that we can then hear our inner voice and begin to reconnect with ourselves, each other, and with our Creator. Then we can feel that sense of peace and healing we are all seeking. The meditative state is the level of consciousness we must be in for healing to take place. We must remember who we are, and that is, we are spirit having a physical experience, not purely physical beings trying to have a spiritual experience."

All of the music and meditations are composed and performed by Garris. The musical elements are varied, but are mostly soft, dreamy piano, melodious strings, sweet saxophone, flutes, and bells, and an angelic air choir, mixed with timeless, gentle, ocean sounds.

The albums are approximately one hour in length, including meditations. The meditations are approximately 12 to 18 minutes long. The meditations themselves are spoken word, but with background music that is an interwoven compilation of the songs for each particular album. "Each album," Garris says, "is its own story; its own special journey of healing,"

For those that do not know how to even begin to meditate, "These CDs guide you right through the process," Garris says. Seasoned students of meditation will find the music and the "journeys" a delightful change of pace.
