From the Movies to the \"Goodies,\" Austin Actress and Designer Creates Photo Albums for the 2005 CMT Music Award\'s Goody Bags
Carrie Crain Designs, Inc. today announced her line of western-inspired photo albums have been selected by Backstage Creations, specialists in award show gifts and custom backstage Celebrity Retreats, to be featured in the 2005 CMT Music Award\'s Celebrity Retreat\'s gift bags.
/Country Music News Articles/ - Austin Texas, April 7, 2005 - There will be 75 original albums consisting of an Indian, Asian, and western-inspired motif with her signature guitar pick creatively placed on each one. "I instinctively knew my CMT Music Awards albums had to be extra special when I received word saying the approval committee loved them," explains Carrie Crain, designer and founder of Carrie Crain Designs, Inc. "Most will have fun, chic vintage cowboy ties with old jewelry strewn on them. And one will have this incredible old pearl collar and this vintage scrap from Peru (circa 1920s) that still has the original stitching on the archaeology paper from the site."

There is high-profile coverage with celebrities, press and media exposure, brand awareness, and sales opportunities," says Shemiah Sullivan of Backstage Creations, which brings celebrities and clients backstage in a room called, "The Retreat," at television award shows and specials and provides them an exclusive opportunity to personally introduce their products and services.
The CMT Music Awards will be honoring country music's greats. The show airs live on CMT from Nashville on Monday, April 11, 2005. In 2004, the show had the highest rated telecast among viewers ages 18-49, with a 13% increase in total viewers, to 8.3 million people, from the previous year.
Carrie has been on hit TV shows such as "Star Trek: The Next Generation," "Cheers," "Dear John," "Coach," "Married...with Children," and films such as "The Ringer," "The King," "Flatliners," and "Another 48 Hours." You can catch her on the Discovery Channel as the IBM's Smart House mother in an upcoming documentary, which is set to release this year.
Carrie is a cousin of Oscar-winning actress, Marcia Gay Harden of New York City. She is married and has two stepchildren: Ross Crain, who is a senior at NYU's Meisner School of Acting, and Linsi Crain, who works for ConocoPhillips in their government affairs division in Houston, Texas. Her husband, Garry D. Crain, is in the global health care industry.
